ACCA New Members Ceremony Delighted to be in the esteemed company of Mr. Ronnie Patton, Deputy Global President ACCA, and Mr. Stephen Noonan, Head of ACCA Ireland. PAT Business School was both delighted and privileged to receive two awards this year. Firstly, in the Excellence in Business Awards 2023, we were awarded for ‘Excellence in Public Sector Higher & Professional Education in Accountancy and Fintech’. Secondly, by the Irish Accountancy Awards 2023 Judging Panel as the winner in the ‘Excellence in Education and Training’ category. Welcome to the latest newsletter edition. September was a busy month at PAT Business School. Here are some of the events and highlights that occurred during the month. The EY Compliance Workshop, in partnership with the Compliance Institute and PAT Business School, took place this month. The workshop investigated the Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) as implementation dates for both policies fast approaching, with DORA coming into effect in January 2025. The CBI is still in consultation for finalising the rules/guidelines for IAF – which is part of the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR). Thanks to our main speakers on the
