Springboard+ and HCI Pillar 1 are co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union.
From its inception in 2017, PAT Business School has been dedicated to bringing first-class tuition and support to accountancy students pursuing the global ACCA qualification.
PAT Business School is at the forefront of online education and digitally enhanced learning in Ireland. Having achieved the ACCA ALP (Approved Learning Partner) status in record time, PAT Business School has been awarded Platinum Learner recognition by the ACCA – the highest level of quality assurance in teaching, learning and assessment excellence. ACCA is the largest and fastest growing global professional accountancy body in the world with over 500,000 members and students in 173 countries.
This was followed by a collaboration with the Irish Government, the European Social Fund and the ACCA to establish accountancy programmes, in recognition of the growing skills and workplace shortages.
More recently, PAT Business School in partnership with ACCA has collaborated with leading experts in the field of online remote assessment proctoring to address the disruption in exam scheduling caused by COVID-19. PAT Business School students are some of the first in the world to take remotely invigilated exams in the ACCA ecosystem – from the safety of their own home.
PAT Business School has displayed an agility to innovate and adapt in response to new challenges and changes in the accountancy and finance sector. During the COVID-19 lockdown, PAT Business School was able to run all scheduled classes and offer responsive student support by utilising the existing PAT Business School Online infrastructure, which allowed for a seamless transition to the delivery of online classes exclusively without face-to-face contact – which has seen one of PAT Business School’s students achieve a first in world placing from the December 2020 suite of ACCA examinations where approximately 120,000 students sat 150,000 examinations.
In 2019 PAT Fintech was created in response to the industry need for emerging demand for the most advanced skills based training in an ever changing financial service landscape PAT Fintech is dedicated to the design and development of industry-led professionally certified skills training for the accountancy and financial services sector and is currently working in partnership with the Compliance Institute to develop a suite of programmes for their 3,250-membership base in Ireland.
Finally, in early 2021 PAT Business School was privileged to sign a collaborative partnership agreement with Technological University Dublin – Ireland’s newest University and the largest Higher Education Institute with a student population in excess of 28,000 within the State. Our joint vision is to create a better world together for our collective stakeholders from students, staff, communities, industry and governments.
