Another busy month for PAT Business School! Check out some of the events and highlights that occurred during the month.
With the ever-growing role of the Irish Charities Regulator, charity audits are becoming increasingly important assignments for audit practices and come with their own unique risks.
PAT Business School in conjunction with Ms. Emma Delaney FCA and Ms. Laura Fallon of KSi Faulkner Orr Ireland was delighted to host a webinar for ACCA Ireland members on Charities SORP Accounting – which sets out how charities should prepare their annual accounts and report on their finances. With special thanks to Ms. Jelena Griscenko from the Charities Regulator Office, and Messrs. Shane Walsh and Aidan Clifford from ACCA Ireland for their help in the organisation of the event.
National University of Ireland Maynooth Awards
PAT Business School was delighted to recently visit National University of Ireland Maynooth University and receive the warm welcome of Ms. Aodhdín Casey FCA, Ms. Mary Shilling, Dr Bridget McNally and Professor Joseph Coughlan to announce details of the PAT Business School Scholarship of the Year and Student of the Year Excellence Awards for the class of 2022 / 2023.
Compliance Showcase Event
We had the pleasure of hosting a Compliance Showcase with Ireland South East Financial Services Cluster. We hosted a range of speakers & panelists tackling Compliance, Skillset Needs, and The Importance of Risk & Compliance in Irish Financial Services.

Technological University Dublin Sustainability Event
PAT Business School was delighted to be invited and to attend an Expert Panel discussion at the TU Dublin Grangegorman campus on the new roles in accounting & finance as a result of the sustainability transition.
The Expert Panel shared their views on the unique skill sets required to support the Accountancy profession to report and disclose on ESG through new regulation (SCRD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR) and reporting frameworks (GRI, TFCD, TNFD, CDP and SBTi).

IBEC Workshop
PAT Business School in collaboration with Compliance Institute, PwC and IFS Skillnet were delighted to attend an IBEC workshop on the topic of ‘Designing and Managing key policies for Insurance and Investment firms’.
