James is a corporate trainer for over the past twenty (20) years designing and delivering training courses that meet the specific requirements of clients. He is a dedicated person and adopts a proactive manner that facilitates a strong workplace learning environment. Clients include (1) Electricity Supply Board; (2) Merck Ltd.; (3) National College of Ireland re. corporate programmes etc.
He has worked for four (4) different multinational organisations – (American, Japanese, Irish and British / China Partnership) – the latter three in a variety of management roles. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and practical experience that enables him to apply same in a humorous but thoughtful manner.
He also has been lecturing part-time for over the past thirty (30) years representing various third level institutions e.g. U.C.D. – Smurfit Business School, D.C.U. – Business School, Institute of Project Management etc. and has lectured on over thirty five (35) different modules on both Masters and Undergraduate programmes. He also represented the University of London (Queen Mary) in China (2011 – 2015 and 2019 – 2024) in a block-lecturing capacity lecturing on various business related modules.
James has also lectured on various ACCA modules for ten (10) years in various educational institutions. He has lectured to multiple ACCA prize winners, some of whom have come in the top ten (10) worldwide in their respective modules. He is a confident trainer / lecturer and his style is supportive in accommodating and enhancing a positive student academic / practical experience.
He has two Masters, one Degree and two Diploma qualifications (all completed through part time studies). He is currently studying for a MPhil – in Business Research (P/T) with Dublin City University. His research is based on establishing a set of standard variables for high performance teams in a business environment.
