Stephen Fennell BSc, MPhil, ACCA

Stephen is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) gaining his qualification in 2016. Stephen was placed in Joint 2nd place in Ireland and 13th place Worldwide in ACCA ATX (Formerly P6) out of 8,367 students worldwide. As an experienced tax practitioner and advisor in financial management, Stephen has a unique style bringing practical real-life examples and down to earth illustrations to the students lecturing experience with an ability to simplify complex concepts.

Stephen has achieved remarkable lecturing success in recent times with many first in Ireland student placings in ACCA Financial Management, Taxation and Advanced Taxation. His ACCA pass rates are greater than 75% on an accumulative basis and he is widely regarded in the ACCA constituency.

By being part of PAT Business School platinum provider, he debriefs the ACCA taxation exam papers and aids the ACCA Examination team in the quality assurance process before solution publications. He is a former programme course director at International College Dublin, and he designs his own bespoke ACCA student friendly lecturing materials to ensure students success.

In addition, he holds a BSc. in Applied Sciences and an M.Phil in Applied Sciences from the Technical University of Dublin.
