“Ringo Alagba is the Chief Risk Officer (PCF-14) and Head of Compliance (PCF-12) at Lendermarket Limited, where he leads the organisation’s risk, compliance, and governance strategy across ECSP, AML/CFT, GDPR, and operational risk domains. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, fintech, telecommunications, and advisory, he has built a strong reputation for designing effective control frameworks and guiding firms through complex regulatory environments.
At PAT Business School, Ringo lectures on Risk and Compliance within the Diploma in Fintech, Risk, and Compliance programme. His teaching covers AML in Europe, customer due diligence, risk and compliance management frameworks, oversight structures, and scalable compliance systems, bringing practical industry insight directly into the classroom.
Alongside his work at PAT Business School, Ringo has lectured at Maynooth University, delivering modules in Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Risk Management, and Strategy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Ringo has previously held senior roles at M&M Fintech, Elavon Financial Services (U.S. Bank), and Deloitte Ireland, and has contributed to European Digital Finance Association (EDFA) working groups on ECSP implementation. He holds an International MBA, an MBA, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Services, and multiple professional certifications including PMP and the Chartered Banker Licentiate.
